Ellie Belle is a designer fashion and bridal boutique, with an in-house atelier, located in Eden Prairie, Minnesota. Our garment care services cover wedding gown cleaning and preservation, designer and couture garment care, and professional steaming and pressing, all managed through a private, appointment-only experience.
Every piece entrusted to us is inspected and finished to perfection. Specialty cleaning is coordinated through vetted garment care partners selected for their experience with delicate and high-value pieces, and nothing returns to a client before it passes our inspection. Our team provides personalized recommendations based on each garment's fabric, construction, and finish.

Your gown deserves the same intention before the wedding as after it. We care for gowns at both ends of the day.
Before the Wedding
A gown collects handling long before the aisle. Fittings, try-ons, transport, and storage can leave makeup marks, dust along the hem, and creases through the skirt and train. Our pre-wedding services make sure your gown arrives at the day flawless:
- Final steaming and pressing, timed to your wedding date, so the gown photographs with clean lines and full drape
- Spot cleaning for marks picked up during fittings and try-ons
- Full cleaning for sample gowns, secondhand gowns, and gowns purchased at sample sales, so your gown is fresh before its first wear
- Cleaning and refreshing of heirloom gowns, for brides wearing a mother's or grandmother's gown
For gowns altered in our atelier, we coordinate final pressing with your last fitting, so the gown moves from fitting to wedding day without a separate errand.
After the Wedding
After the celebration, cleaning safely removes visible and invisible stains, including champagne, makeup, perspiration, and body oils, while protecting lace, beading, embroidery, silk, and couture fabrics. Invisible stains such as sugar and perspiration oxidize over time and darken if untreated, so we recommend cleaning your gown as soon as possible after the wedding.
Wedding Gown Preservation
Preservation protects your gown for decades, and for the next bride who may wear it. Preserved gowns are cleaned, treated, and packaged in archival, acid-free materials designed for long-term storage. Preservation is the right choice for brides keeping their gown as an heirloom, and it begins with the same inspection and cleaning as every gown in our care.

Wrinkles diminish even the finest garment. Professional steaming and pressing restore crisp lines, elegant drape, and a polished finish for weddings, galas, business events, and everyday wear. Steaming and pressing are performed in our Eden Prairie atelier and are often available same-week.
Our Inspection Process
Every garment is inspected on arrival to identify stains, loose embellishments, damaged seams, missing buttons, and other concerns before any cleaning begins. After service, each piece is inspected again against our quality standards before it is returned to you. If we identify anything that may affect the cleaning process, we discuss it with you before proceeding.
Rush Service
Expedited garment care is available for upcoming weddings, travel, and special events, subject to atelier availability and the requirements of the fabric. Rush fees apply.

Garment care pricing varies with the garment, fabric, embellishments, construction, and the care it requires, so every quote is personalized. Garment care appointments carry our standard $50 retainer, which is applied toward your service.
