Do I need an appointment to try on wedding gowns?
Yes. Ellie Belle is a by-appointment-only bridal boutique. This ensures that every bride receives a private, personalized experience with a dedicated Client Advisor. Never rushed, never shared.
How does the Ellie Belle bridal appointment process work?
Unlike traditional bridal shops with racks of sample gowns, Ellie Belle offers a refined, tailored approach. We know that rows and rows of dresses can feel overwhelming, so instead, we’ve designed a more styled and experience-focused way to shop your dream dress. During your private appointment, you’ll work one-on-one with your Client Advisor. We’ll begin with a few sample gowns in the boutique, and then you’ll also have access to our full designer catalogues on our device. Once you’ve chosen your favorite gown, we’ll order the gown directly from the designer. And if you’d love something completely unique, we also offer custom bridal design right here in-house.
Why don’t you display racks of wedding dresses?
We believe the process of finding your gown should be elegant, stress-free, and curated. Endless rows of dresses can feel overwhelming. At Ellie Belle, our goal is to help you shop with clarity and intention. With access to exclusive designer collections and expert guidance, you’ll find the perfect gown without the pressure of aimless browsing.
Can I try on wedding dresses during my first appointment?
Yes. We have a carefully selected range of sample gowns available to try in-store. In many cases, your first appointment will also include selecting additional gowns from our designer catalogues to be brought in for a second fitting.
What designers do you carry?
We partner with some of the most respected luxury bridal designers in the world, including European couture houses and exclusive U.S. labels. Many styles in our collection are not available anywhere else in Minnesota.
Do you offer custom bridal tailoring, alterations or gown redesigns?
Yes. We offer full bespoke tailoring services, including gown modifications, repurposing family dresses, and creating custom bridal looks.
What is the typical price range for your bridal gowns?
Our wedding gowns range from $2,000 to $6,000+, with select couture pieces above that range. During your appointment, we tailor the selection to align with your style, sizing, and budget preferences.
Can I bring guests to my fitting?
Yes. You're welcome to bring up to five guests to your appointment. We want your fitting to feel as special and supported as the day itself.
Do you offer plus-size bridal gowns?
Yes. We proudly serve brides of all sizes. Many of our designers offer extended sizing and custom options.
