Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced tailor to join our team at Ellie Belle. The ideal candidate will have expertise in garment alterations, fittings, and customization, ensuring that our clients receive exceptional service and perfectly tailored clothing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality alterations and repairs on luxury garments, ensuring a flawless fit.
  • Work with a variety of materials, including delicate fabrics such as silk, lace, leather, and high-end designer textiles.
  • Conduct professional fittings with clients, providing expert advice on necessary alterations.
  • Execute detailed custom tailoring requests, including hemming, taking in or letting out garments, and adjusting linings.
  • Maintain organization and efficiency in the Ellie Belle tailoring space.
  • Collaborate with stylists and sales associates to enhance the customer experience.
  • Ensure all alterations meet Ellie Belle’s luxury standards.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • 5+ years of professional tailoring or alteration experience, preferably in luxury fashion.
  • Strong knowledge of garment construction, sewing techniques, and pattern making.
  • Experience with high-end fashion brands and delicate fabrics.
  • Ability to perform precise, detailed, and high-quality work under time constraints.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Our VIP, appointment-only shopping experience ensures that every client receives personalized, white-glove service. We are seeking Client Advisors who are passionate about luxury fashion, styling, and relationship-building, delivering an unparalleled shopping experience.

Your Role as a Client Advisor

As a Client Advisor at Ellie Belle, you are more than a salesperson—you are a trusted style expert and brand ambassador. You will cultivate long-term client relationships, provide personalized styling guidance, and ensure every guest enjoys an exceptional, seamless shopping experience. Your primary responsibility will be to assist clients with their needs, ensuring they receive exceptional service and support throughout their shopping journey. You will leverage your knowledge of our products and services to provide tailored recommendations, drive sales through effective upselling techniques, and maintain an organized and inviting store atmosphere.

Additionally, you will help manage the online and in-store boutique experiences, including editing product listings, processing orders and returns, stepping in for the Boutique Manager when needed, and ensuring smooth daily operations. You will also engage with clients on social media through videos and posts, strengthening brand presence and client engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet customers warmly and provide assistance as needed to create a welcoming environment.
  • Utilize POS systems efficiently for processing transactions and managing inventory.
  • Engage in upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers on features and benefits.
  • Maintain stock levels by organizing merchandise and assisting with inventory management.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and offering personalized recommendations.

  • Process orders, returns, and exchanges efficiently.
  • Engage with clients on social media through videos, styling tips, and promotional posts.
  • Step in for the Boutique Manager when necessary to oversee daily store operations.

Who You Are

  • Passionate about luxury fashion & styling – You have an eye for designer brands and trends.
  • Strong background in customer service, preferably in a fashion retail setting.
  • An exceptional communicator & relationship builder – You connect with clients on a personal level.
  • Experienced in luxury retail (preferred but not required) – Prior experience in high-end fashion, styling, or personal shopping is a plus.
  • Polished & professional – You represent the exclusivity of Ellie Belle.
  • Proficiency with POS systems and familiarity with stock management processes.
  • Excellent phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries over the phone.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with customers and team members alike.
  • Proven sales skills with a focus on upselling products to enhance the customer experience.
  • Experience conducting product demos to engage customers and promote sales.
  • Basic understanding of retail math for effective pricing strategies and inventory management.
