The Ellie Belle Atelier is our in-house destination for bridal alterations, custom tailoring, garment alterations, and bespoke work. Every piece is approached individually, with attention to fit, construction, proportion, and finish.
From a wedding gown requiring precise alterations to a suit that needs refining or a garment created specifically for you, our atelier works closely with each client to achieve a considered, finished result.
Bridal Alterations
Your gown should feel as exceptional as it looks.
Our bridal alterations are completed in-house by experienced specialists who understand the construction, structure, and detail required of designer wedding gowns.
Services may include:
- Hem adjustments
- Bodice and waist alterations
- Strap and neckline adjustments
- Bustle construction
- Sleeve alterations
- Structural modifications
- Restyling and custom changes
Each gown is evaluated individually, and the number of fittings required depends on the garment and the work being completed.
Tailoring & Alterations
Precise alterations can completely change the way a garment looks and feels.
Our atelier provides tailoring and alterations for women’s and men’s garments, including dresses, gowns, suits, jackets, trousers, skirts, and designer fashion.
From subtle fit adjustments to more extensive garment work, every alteration is approached with the original design and proportion of the piece in mind.
Bespoke & Custom Work
For pieces that begin with an idea rather than an existing garment, our atelier also offers bespoke and custom work.
We work with clients on select projects ranging from custom garments to significant garment modifications and special design requests. The process begins with a consultation to understand the piece, the desired result, and what is technically possible.
Bridal Gowns Purchased Elsewhere
You do not need to purchase your wedding gown from Ellie Belle to work with our atelier.
We welcome brides who purchased their gowns elsewhere and provide the same level of care and attention throughout the alterations process.
The Fitting Experience
All visits to Ellie Belle are by appointment.
Your fitting is reserved specifically for you, allowing our team to focus on your garment without overlapping client appointments. During your fitting, we review the work being completed, assess the fit, and determine any additional adjustments needed before the next stage.
Some garments may require only one fitting, while more involved bridal or custom work may require several.
Garment Care
Select garments may also require professional steaming, pressing, or cleaning before they are ready to wear.
These services are separate from alterations and can be arranged through Ellie Belle when appropriate.
