Our Story
Ellie Belle was founded by Stephnora Peterson and named after her daughter Elizabeth, Ellie to the people who love her most. That name carries everything the boutique stands for. Personal. Intentional. Built with someone specific in mind.
What began as an online destination in 2023 became a flagship boutique in Eden Prairie, Minnesota in July 2025, built around a single conviction: that finding a gown, a suit, or a designer piece, or bringing something treasured to the atelier, should feel entirely personal.
Every detail of Ellie Belle reflects that conviction. The appointment-only model. The in-house atelier. The designer relationships built over time. The refreshments waiting when you arrive, and the champagne when you say yes.
The story behind our collections
Every brand at Ellie Belle is here by intention. Through direct partnerships with designers and brand-authorized boutiques across Europe and the United States, we bring clients access to collections that meet our standard for craftsmanship, design, and exclusivity.
For bridal, Ellie Belle holds exclusive Minnesota rights for Rosa Clará, and Pollardi. With ongoing designer expansion as the boutique grows.
For bridal footwear, Bella Belle brings the same level of craft to the finishing detail — beautifully constructed shoes built for the day.
The Atelier
The Ellie Belle atelier is an in-house workroom handling alterations, tailoring, bespoke construction, and custom embroidery. Every piece of work is completed by our own team, in our own space, to a consistent standard regardless of where the garment originated.
Brides bring their gowns here. Clients bring suits, dresses, and pieces they have owned for years. The atelier does not distinguish between what was purchased at Ellie Belle and what was not. The standard is the same either way.
Appointments are required. Work is assessed individually. Final pricing is confirmed at your fitting.

Discovery and fit belong together. The Ellie Belle atelier handles alterations, tailoring, bespoke construction, and custom embroidery entirely in house — for garments purchased here and garments purchased elsewhere.
