Overview
This website and Ellie Belle's boutique, bridal, and atelier services are operated by Ellie Belle LLC ("Ellie Belle," "we," "us," "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern all use of elliebelle.com and bridal.elliebelle.com, all boutique appointments, bridal gown styling, tailoring and alteration services, custom and bespoke work, and all purchases of designer fashion and Ellie Belle Originals gowns.
By visiting our website, booking an appointment, or engaging any Ellie Belle service, you agree to these Terms in full. If you do not agree, do not use the website, book an appointment, or engage our services.
Ellie Belle is an appointment-only designer fashion and bridal boutique with an in-house atelier, located in Eden Prairie, Minnesota. Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc., which provides the e-commerce platform supporting online orders.
We may update these Terms at any time. Updates take effect once posted to this page. Continued use of the website or continued engagement of our services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
Definitions
Client. Any individual who books an appointment, engages a Service, or places an order with Ellie Belle.
Services. Boutique appointments, bridal gown styling, tailoring and alteration services, custom and bespoke work, and any other service offered by Ellie Belle.
Gown. Any bridal or formal garment offered, ordered, or altered by Ellie Belle.
Ellie Belle Originals. Gowns designed and produced in-house by Ellie Belle's atelier.
Designer Fashion. Ready-to-wear and formal garments carried by Ellie Belle from outside designers.
Atelier. Ellie Belle's in-house tailoring, alteration, and construction team.
Retainer. The advance payment required to reserve an appointment, applied toward the cost of the Service booked.
Use of Services
You confirm that you are at least the age of majority in your state, or that a parent or guardian has provided consent on behalf of a minor client.
You may not use our website or services for any unlawful or unauthorized purpose, and you may not violate any applicable law while using either. Any attempt to introduce harmful code, viruses, or unauthorized access to our systems will result in immediate termination of service.
Ellie Belle reserves the right to refuse service, cancel an appointment, or decline an order at our discretion.
Accuracy of Information
Information on this website, including product descriptions, pricing, and availability, is provided for general reference. Ellie Belle does not guarantee that all content is accurate, complete, or current, and reserves the right to correct or update content at any time without notice.
Designer gown pricing is disclosed by appointment only and is not published on the website. Ellie Belle Originals gowns display pricing publicly, subject to change without notice.
Pricing and Product Availability
Prices, availability, and product descriptions are subject to change without notice. Ellie Belle may modify or discontinue any product, style, or service at any time, and may restrict sales or services to individuals, regions, or jurisdictions. Ellie Belle is not liable for price changes, discontinuations, or restrictions.
Displayed and quoted prices do not include applicable sales tax. Sales tax is calculated and added at checkout or on the final invoice based on the applicable jurisdiction.
Billing and Account Information
Ellie Belle reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, including orders that reflect unusual quantities, duplicate account or payment activity, or suspected reseller activity. If we cancel or modify an order, we will attempt to contact you using the information provided at booking or checkout.
By engaging our services or placing an order, you agree to provide accurate, complete, and current billing and contact information, and to update it promptly if it changes.
Boutique Appointments
Ellie Belle operates by appointment only. Boutique hours are daily from 11:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., by appointment.
Appointments may be scheduled through bridal.elliebelle.com for bridal styling, or through elliebelle.com for tailoring and alteration services. Each appointment is reserved for a single client and their invited guests, within the space and time allotted by our stylists and atelier team.
Ellie Belle asks that appointments be rescheduled or canceled with reasonable notice. Late arrival may shorten the appointment or require rescheduling, at our discretion, out of respect for the appointments scheduled around yours.
Ellie Belle asks that clients keep their guest list to a manageable number so our stylists and atelier team can give each appointment proper attention, and that care be taken around gowns and garments, including keeping food and drink away from fitting areas.
Appointment Retainers
A retainer of $50 is required to reserve any Ellie Belle appointment, including bridal styling, tailoring, and alteration consultations.
The retainer is applied toward the cost of the service booked. Once a fitting has occurred, the retainer becomes non-refundable, regardless of whether the client proceeds with the service.
Retainers are not deposits toward merchandise and do not guarantee pricing, availability, or the outcome of any service.
No-Shows and Late Cancellations
Appointments missed without notice, or canceled with insufficient notice to fill the reserved time, forfeit the retainer paid to reserve that appointment.
Repeated no-shows or late cancellations may result in Ellie Belle requiring prepayment for future appointments or declining future booking requests, at our discretion.
Bridal Gown Styling
Bridal styling appointments are guided by a dedicated stylist and scheduled in advance through bridal.elliebelle.com. Ellie Belle represents a group of bridal designers alongside Ellie Belle Originals, our in-house gown collection.
Gown selection, sizing, and order timelines are discussed and confirmed during the styling appointment. Designer gown pricing is disclosed during the appointment and is not published publicly. Ellie Belle Originals gown pricing is published on our website.
Once a bridal gown order is placed, changes to size, style, or color are subject to the originating designer's policies and may not be possible after the order is submitted.
Tailoring and Alterations
Ellie Belle's in-house atelier provides tailoring and alteration services for gowns and garments purchased through Ellie Belle, as well as select outside garments, at our discretion.
Alteration pricing is determined at the fitting, based on the scope of work required, and is subject to change periodically. Pricing quoted at one fitting is not guaranteed to apply to future fittings or additional requested work.
Alteration timelines are estimates and may vary based on the complexity of the work and the atelier's current schedule. Ellie Belle recommends beginning alterations well in advance of any event date.
Wedding Party Alterations
Alterations for bridesmaids, mothers, and other members of a wedding party are scheduled as separate appointments and are subject to their own retainer, pricing, and timeline.
Each wedding party member is responsible for their own retainer, fitting attendance, and payment, unless other arrangements are confirmed in writing with Ellie Belle in advance.
Ellie Belle recommends scheduling wedding party fittings early, particularly for events with multiple attendants, to protect timeline flexibility ahead of the event date.
Custom Tailoring and Bespoke
Custom and bespoke work is quoted individually based on design, fabric, and construction requirements. A retainer is required to begin any custom or bespoke project and is applied toward the final cost.
Custom and bespoke garments are built to the measurements and specifications confirmed at the time of order. Changes requested after construction has begun may incur additional charges and may affect the completion timeline.
Because custom and bespoke garments are made specifically for the client, they are not eligible for return or resale once construction has begun.
Garment Care
Ellie Belle provides care guidance for gowns and garments at the time of pickup. Improper storage, cleaning, or handling after a garment leaves our care may affect its condition, and Ellie Belle is not responsible for damage occurring after pickup.
Ellie Belle can refer clients to trusted preservation and cleaning partners upon request. Any such service is provided by the third party directly, and Ellie Belle is not responsible for the third party's work.
Designer Fashion Orders
Designer fashion orders placed through Ellie Belle, whether in boutique or online, are subject to the originating designer's production timelines, sizing, and policies in addition to these Terms.
Designer fashion pricing is disclosed by appointment only and is not published on the website. Ellie Belle Originals pricing is published publicly and is subject to change without notice.
Special orders are final once submitted to the designer and are not eligible for cancellation, exchange, or refund unless otherwise stated in writing at the time of order.
Client Property
Ellie Belle exercises reasonable care with any garment, accessory, or personal item left in our care for alterations, styling, or storage. Ellie Belle is not responsible for loss or damage resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Garments and property left unclaimed for more than 90 days after the client is notified of completion may be considered abandoned. Ellie Belle reserves the right to dispose of or donate the item at our discretion.
Client Portal
Ellie Belle may provide clients with access to a secure client portal for managing appointments, quotes, invoices, order status, and retainer agreements. Access to the portal is provided as a convenience and is subject to the security and availability of the underlying platform.
Clients are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their portal login credentials and for any activity conducted through their account.
Electronic Signatures
Ellie Belle may request electronic signature on retainer agreements, quotes, alteration authorizations, and other service documents. By signing electronically, you agree that your electronic signature carries the same legal effect as a handwritten signature, and that the signed document constitutes a binding agreement between you and Ellie Belle.
Quotes
Quotes provided for alterations, custom work, or bespoke garments reflect the scope of work known at the time the quote is issued. Additional work identified after a fitting begins, or changes requested by the client, may result in a revised quote.
Quotes are valid for the period stated at the time of issue and are not guaranteed beyond that period.
Invoices
Invoices are issued for services rendered and merchandise ordered, and reflect any retainer already applied. Payment in full is due according to the terms stated on the invoice unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Ellie Belle reserves the right to withhold delivery of a garment or completed alteration until the associated invoice is paid in full.
Payment Processing
Ellie Belle accepts payment through the methods made available at booking, in boutique, or through our website checkout. Online payments are processed through Shopify's payment infrastructure. Ellie Belle does not store full payment card information.
Chargebacks initiated for services already rendered, garments already altered, or custom work already begun may be contested, and the client may remain responsible for the outstanding balance.
Online Orders, Shipping, and Returns
Orders placed directly through elliebelle.com are confirmed by order confirmation email once payment is processed. Ellie Belle reserves the right to cancel or decline any online order prior to shipment, including for pricing errors, inventory discrepancies, or suspected fraud.
Ellie Belle ships domestically and internationally. International orders are the client's responsibility for any customs duties, import taxes, or brokerage fees assessed by the destination country. Risk of loss and title for shipped items pass to the client upon delivery to the carrier.
Qualifying items purchased online may be returned within 14 days of delivery for a refund, provided the item is unworn, unaltered, and in its original condition with tags attached. Chanel and Hermes items are eligible for exchange or return within 7 days of delivery under the same condition requirements.
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 10 to 15 business days of Ellie Belle's receipt of the returned item.
Bridal gowns, veils, beauty products, and custom or bespoke garments are final sale and are not eligible for return, exchange, or refund.
Return shipping costs are the client's responsibility unless the return is due to an Ellie Belle error. Ellie Belle recommends using a trackable shipping method, as we are not responsible for returns lost in transit.
Gift Cards and Store Credit
Gift cards sold by Ellie Belle carry no expiration date and are not redeemable for cash except where required by law.
Store credit issued for a return, cancellation, or service adjustment is applied toward future purchases or services at Ellie Belle and is non-transferable.
Belle Cash rewards are governed by separate program terms made available to clients at the time of enrollment.
SMS Communications
By providing your phone number and opting in, you consent to receive SMS and MMS messages from Ellie Belle related to appointments, orders, alterations, bridal styling, and account notifications, along with occasional updates about the boutique.
Message frequency varies based on your interactions with us. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase or service. Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile carrier plan.
You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. For assistance, reply HELP or contact us at clientservices@elliebelle.com or 612-464-4889. Ellie Belle does not sell, rent, or share phone numbers or SMS opt-in data with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
Mobile information, SMS consent, and text messaging opt-in data will not be shared, sold, rented, or disclosed to third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.
Email Communications
By providing your email address, you consent to receive communications from Ellie Belle related to appointments, orders, quotes, invoices, and boutique updates. You may unsubscribe from marketing email at any time using the link provided in each message.
Transactional communications related to an active appointment, order, or alteration may continue regardless of marketing preferences, as needed to complete the service.
Third-Party Services and Links
Ellie Belle may provide access to third-party tools, platforms, or links, including payment processing, scheduling, e-signature, and client portal services. Ellie Belle does not control and is not responsible for the content, security, or performance of any third-party service. Use of any third-party service is at your own risk.
Photography and Marketing Use
Ellie Belle may photograph gowns, garments, and fittings during appointments for internal reference, styling records, and quality control.
With the client's separate consent obtained at the time of the appointment, Ellie Belle may also use such photography in marketing materials, including the website and social media. A client may decline marketing use at any time without affecting their appointment or service.
User-Generated Content
By submitting comments, photographs, or feedback to Ellie Belle, including through social media or client communications, you grant Ellie Belle the right to use, edit, and publish that content in connection with our business. Ellie Belle is not obligated to compensate you for, or to keep confidential, any content submitted, and reserves the right to remove content deemed unlawful, offensive, or objectionable.
Personal Information
Personal information collected through the website, boutique appointments, or client portal is governed by Ellie Belle's Privacy Policy.
Intellectual Property
All content on this website and in Ellie Belle's marketing materials, including photography, gown designs original to Ellie Belle, text, and branding, is the property of Ellie Belle or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property law. No portion of this content may be reproduced, distributed, or used commercially without Ellie Belle's written consent.
Designer gowns and garments carried by Ellie Belle remain the intellectual property of their respective designers.
Copyright Notices
Ellie Belle respects the intellectual property rights of others. If you believe content on this website infringes your copyright, submit a notice to clientservices@elliebelle.com including a description of the copyrighted work, the location of the allegedly infringing material, and your contact information. Ellie Belle will review and respond to valid notices in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act.
Prohibited Activities
You may not use this website or Ellie Belle's services for any unlawful purpose, including fraud, harassment, chargeback abuse, circumventing security features, or distributing malware. Ellie Belle reserves the right to terminate access or decline service to anyone engaged in prohibited activity.
Termination
Ellie Belle may suspend or terminate a client's access to the website, client portal, or future services at our discretion, including for violation of these Terms or engagement in prohibited activity.
Termination does not affect any obligation already incurred, including payment for services rendered, garments ordered, or retainers forfeited under these Terms.
Sections that by their nature should survive termination, including Client Property, Intellectual Property, Indemnification, Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability, Dispute Resolution, and Minnesota Governing Law, remain in effect after termination.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Ellie Belle harmless from any claim, damage, or legal expense arising from your violation of these Terms or your infringement of any third party's rights.
Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
Ellie Belle's website and services are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranty of any kind. Ellie Belle does not guarantee uninterrupted, secure, or error-free service.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ellie Belle and its owners, employees, and affiliates are not liable for any indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages, including loss of profit or data, arising from use of the website or engagement of our services. Ellie Belle's total liability for any claim related to a service is limited to the amount paid by the client for that specific service.
Some jurisdictions do not permit these limitations, so portions of this section may not apply to you.
Dispute Resolution
Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of Ellie Belle's website or services will be resolved through binding individual arbitration rather than in court, except that either party may bring a qualifying claim in small claims court.
There is no right or authority for any dispute to be brought, heard, or arbitrated as a class, collective, or representative action. You waive any right to participate in a class action against Ellie Belle.
Minnesota Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, without regard to conflict of law principles. Except as provided in the Dispute Resolution section above, any dispute not subject to arbitration will be resolved in the State District Court of Hennepin County, Minnesota. You are responsible for any legal fees or costs Ellie Belle incurs as a result of your violation of these Terms.
Changes to These Terms
The most current version of these Terms is always available on this page. Ellie Belle may update these Terms at any time, and continued use of the website or continued engagement of our services following an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
General Provisions
Severability. If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, that provision will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full effect.
Entire Agreement. These Terms, together with any signed retainer agreement, quote, or invoice, constitute the entire agreement between you and Ellie Belle regarding the subject matter and supersede any prior agreements or understandings.
Waiver. Ellie Belle's failure to enforce any provision of these Terms is not a waiver of our right to enforce that or any other provision later.
Assignment. Ellie Belle may assign these Terms or any related agreement without restriction. You may not assign your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent.
Force Majeure. Ellie Belle is not liable for any delay or failure to perform resulting from causes beyond our reasonable control, including designer or supplier production delays, fabric or material shortages, shipping carrier delays, natural disasters, or other events outside our control.
Notices. Any formal legal notice under these Terms must be delivered in writing to Ellie Belle at 3040 Woodbury Dr, Woodbury, MN 55129, or to clientservices@elliebelle.com, and to the client at the contact information provided at booking or checkout.
