What is Ellie Belle?
Ellie Belle is an appointment-only designer house in Eden Prairie, Minnesota, offering designer fashion, designer bridal, and in-house atelier services including alterations, tailoring, and bespoke commissions. The boutique holds exclusive Minnesota rights to Rosa Clará, Rosa Clará Couture, Lazaro, Maison Perez, Anne Barge, Yumi Katsura, and Pollardi, and represents a considered selection of international designers sourced through direct partnerships with brand-authorized luxury boutiques in Europe and the United States. The bridal collection spans a full range of silhouettes, from clean modern crepe to fully embellished couture. Every visit is private and guided, designed around the client rather than the rack. Where is Ellie Belle located?
16570 West 78th Street, Suite 120, Eden Prairie, MN 55346. We serve clients across the Twin Cities metro area including Minneapolis, St. Paul, Edina, Minnetonka, Bloomington, Wayzata, and Chanhassen.
What are your hours?
Sunday through Saturday, 11:00 AM to 6:30 PM. All visits are by appointment only. Walk-ins are not available.
Do you offer in-person appointments?
Yes. All appointments at Ellie Belle are private and by appointment only. Each client receives the full attention of our team from the moment they arrive. Book a bridal appointment at bridal.elliebelle.com or an atelier or shopping appointment at elliebelle.com.
Why is there a retainer to book an appointment?
Every appointment at Ellie Belle is private and prepared in advance by your stylist or atelier team. The retainer secures your appointment time and the preparation that goes into it, and is required to confirm your booking. It is applied toward your purchase or service at the appointment and reflects the considered, one-on-one nature of the Ellie Belle experience.
Retainer amounts:
- $50 for all appointments, including bridal gown styling, tailoring and alterations, custom tailoring and bespoke, custom embroidery, and private styling.
Retainers are refundable if your appointment is cancelled at least 48 hours before your appointment time. Once your appointment has taken place, retainers are non-refundable.

How do I book a bridal appointment?
Bridal appointments can be booked at bridal.elliebelle.com. Each appointment is private, by reservation only, and led by a dedicated stylist. Book a bridal styling appointment
Why does the Bridal Gown Styling require a retainer?
A $50 retainer reserves your private appointment, your dedicated stylist, and the boutique held exclusively for you and your party. The retainer is applied in full toward the purchase of your gown. Cancellations made more than 48 hours in advance are fully refunded.
What wedding dress designers do you carry?
Ellie Belle holds exclusive Minnesota rights to Rosa Clará, Rosa Clará Couture, Lazaro, Maison Perez, Anne Barge, and Yumi Katsura. Each designer is represented through direct partnership, and our collection is selected to span a range of silhouettes, from clean modern crepe to fully embellished couture. Is Yumi Katsura available in Minnesota?

What is the price range for wedding gowns?
Wedding gowns at Ellie Belle range from $2,000 to $14,000 and above depending on the designer and style.
How far in advance should I book a bridal appointment?
We recommend booking your bridal styling appointment as early as possible, ideally 12 to 18 months before your wedding date. This allows sufficient time for gown ordering, fittings, and alterations.
Do you offer mother of the bride dresses?
Yes. We carry a selection of formal and occasion gowns suited for mothers of the bride and groom. Book a Private Shopping appointment to explore our current collection.
Bridal Alterations
Do you offer bridal alterations?
Yes. The Ellie Belle atelier offers a full range of bridal alterations including hem adjustments, bodice restructuring, bustle installation, corset fitting, strap and sleeve alterations, train customization, and more. All work is completed entirely in house. Book a Bridal Alterations appointment
Can I bring a gown purchased elsewhere for alterations?
Yes. Our atelier accepts bridal alterations on gowns purchased anywhere. The standard of work is the same regardless of where the gown originated.
What should I bring to my bridal alterations appointment?
Bring the shoes you plan to wear on your wedding day, as heel height directly affects hem length and must be confirmed before any alterations begin. You can also shop our bridal shoe collection during your appointment. Bring any shapewear or undergarments you intend to wear as well. If your gown has a bustle, bring any instructions or documentation that came with it. If you are unsure what to bring, contact us before your appointment and we will advise you.
How far in advance should I book bridal alterations?
Earlier is always better. We recommend beginning the bridal alterations process 3 to 4 months before your wedding date. For timelines of 4 to 7 weeks, rush services are available at an additional fee. Express rush is available for timelines of 3 weeks or fewer.
What do rush bridal alterations cost?
Rush service (less than 2 months before the wedding) is $250. Express rush (3 weeks or fewer) is $300. Standard alterations pricing applies to all appointments beginning 2 or more months before the wedding date.
Is a retainer required for bridal alterations appointments?
Yes. A $50 retainer is required to reserve all bridal alterations appointments and is applied toward your service. Retainers are refundable with 48 hours notice.
Atelier, Tailoring & Alterations
What tailoring and alteration services do you offer?
Our in-house atelier provides professional tailoring and alterations for men's and women's clothing, from everyday garments to designer fashion and formalwear. Services include hemming, taking in and letting out, sleeve alterations, zipper and closure replacement, lining repairs, bespoke garment construction, custom embroidery, and precision alterations for suits, dresses, and special occasion attire.
Do you offer tailoring for men?
Yes. We tailor suits, tuxedos, blazers, trousers, dress shirts, overcoats, and formalwear, along with alterations for everyday men's clothing.
Do you tailor women's clothing?
Yes. We alter dresses, skirts, blouses, trousers, jackets, coats, formalwear, and designer garments. Every alteration is completed with careful attention to fit, proportion, and construction.
Can you alter designer garments?
Yes. Our atelier regularly works with designer and luxury garments, preserving the original design while achieving the best possible fit.
How long do alterations take?
Turnaround times vary depending on the garment and the work required. During your appointment, we'll provide an estimated completion date based on your alterations.
Do you offer rush alterations?
Yes. Rush alterations are available for many garments, subject to our atelier's schedule. Rush fees may apply.
Do I need an appointment?
Yes. All tailoring and alteration services are by appointment. This allows our atelier team to properly evaluate your garment, take accurate measurements, and discuss the alterations with you.
Can garments be cleaned or pressed after alterations?
Yes. Professional garment care, including cleaning, steaming, and pressing, is available for many garments. If you'd like your item cleaned or pressed before pickup, simply let us know during your appointment.
Products & Authenticity
Why do some products not show a price or an Add to Bag button?
Some pieces in our collection are not available for online purchase. These are typically designer bridal gowns, evening gowns, and other special-order pieces that are made to order.
Pricing and purchasing are available directly through Ellie Belle. You may purchase these pieces during a boutique appointment or by contacting our Client Services.
Because many of these pieces are made specifically for you, special-order and made-to-order purchases are typically final sale.
Are the products sold at Ellie Belle authentic?
Yes. Every piece at Ellie Belle is sourced directly from our designers and authorized brand partners. We do not carry grey market, replica, or unauthorized product of any kind.
Are your products new or preowned?
Nearly all pieces at Ellie Belle are brand new and sourced directly from our designers and trusted brand partners. We also offer a small selection of preowned pieces through The Founder's Edit, a collection of gently loved items from our founder's personal wardrobe, including high-end designer pieces from brands such as Chanel and Hermès.
Orders & Shipping
Can I modify or cancel my order after placing it?
Because many of our pieces are prepared or reserved specifically for you, orders begin processing quickly. If you need to make a change, contact us as soon as possible and we will do our best to assist. Once an order has been processed or shipped, modifications or cancellations may not be possible.
Do you offer international shipping?
Yes. International shipping is available. Contact us for details on carriers, timelines, and any applicable customs requirements for your destination.
How can I track my order?
Once your order has shipped you will receive a tracking number via email. You can check your order status.
Which shipping carriers do you use?
For domestic orders, we ship via UPS. For international orders, we ship via UPS and DHL.
Payments & Returns
What payment methods does Ellie Belle accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards. Buy now pay later options are available through Affirm at checkout.
Is my payment information secure?
Yes. All transactions are processed through encrypted, secure payment systems. We do not store payment information.
What is your return policy?
Eligible items may be returned within 14 days of receipt. Items must be unworn, undamaged, and in saleable condition with all original tags and packaging intact. Returns are issued to your original payment method, or as store credit or an exchange if you prefer. Please visit our returns page for full details on our return and exchange policy.
How do I start a return?
Visit our Returns Center to begin. You will need your email, zip code, and order or tracking number to initiate the return.
Which items are final sale?
The following are not eligible for return or exchange:
- Bespoke, custom, and personalized atelier work, including any altered or made-to-order pieces
- Beauty, skincare, and fragrance
- Gift cards
- Bridal gowns
- Veils
- Any garment that has entered alterations is considered final sale.
Are designer house items subject to different terms?
Select designer houses carry their own return terms. Chanel and Hermès items must be returned within 7 days of receipt for a refund. These terms supersede the standard window for those brands.
Do you accept international returns?
Yes. International orders are eligible for return in original condition with tags attached. Return shipping for international orders is the responsibility of the client unless the item arrived damaged or incorrect.
