Editor's Notes

The Monty Top by Walter Baker is a tee silhouette reworked in drape knit. The body is cut tight, with shirring running down the center front beneath a mock neck. The cap sleeves fall from a dropped shoulder, and the back neck fastens with a button and loop above a slit. It is fitted and unlined, with the shirring as its only decoration, so the cut does the talking.
