Do I need an appointment to try on wedding gowns?
Yes. Ellie Belle is a by-appointment-only bridal boutique. This ensures that every bride receives a private, personalized experience with our dedicated team. Never rushed, never shared.
Why is a retainer required for bridal styling?
A bridal appointment at Ellie Belle is a private, dedicated experience. The boutique, the team, and the time are held exclusively for you. The $100 retainer reflects that commitment and is applied in full toward the purchase of your gown. It is non-refundable unless canceled at least 48 hours in advance.
How does the Ellie Belle bridal styling appointment process work?
Unlike traditional bridal shops, Ellie Belle offers a refined, tailored approach. Rather than browsing rows of dresses, you will work directly with our Atelier Team in a space designed for focused, considered styling. We begin your appointment with a selection of in-store sample gowns, chosen to reflect your style and vision.
Once you have found the one, we will order your gown directly from the designer in your size. And if you are dreaming of something truly unique, our in-house atelier can create a bespoke bridal design made just for you.
What designers do you carry?
We represent some of the most considered names in bridal, including Rosa Clará, Rosa Clará Couture, Lazaro, Maison Perez by Lazaro, Anne Barge, Yumi Katsura, and Pollardi. Many of the gowns in our collection are not available at any other boutique in Minnesota.
What are my payment options for a bridal gown order?
At the time of order placement, you may choose to pay in full or select our 70/30 payment plan. With the payment plan, 70% is due at the time of order placement and the remaining 30% is due prior to your gown shipping from the designer. For Ellie Belle house gowns, the balance is due at the time your gown is ready for fitting. All payments are non-refundable. Gown orders are placed directly with the designer on your behalf and cannot be cancelled once submitted. Payment is accepted by credit card, debit card, or cash.
Do you offer custom bridal tailoring, alterations or gown redesigns?
Yes. We offer full bespoke services, including gown modifications, repurposing family dresses, and creating custom bridal looks from the ground up.
What is the typical price range for your bridal gowns?
Bridal gowns at Ellie Belle begin at $2,000, with designer and couture styles extending to $14,000 and above. Individual gown pricing is shared in person during your bridal appointment. This allows your stylist to introduce each designer in context and guide you toward the gowns best suited to your vision, silhouette, and timeline.

What if the dress I want isn’t available in the boutique?
We’re happy to bring in select gowns by special request, if available. A $200 sample request fee allows us to secure the piece for your appointment and is fully applied toward your dress when you say yes.
Can I bring guests to my fitting?
Yes. You are welcome to bring up to four guests, ages 12 and older. We want your appointment to feel as supported as the wedding day itself.
Do you offer plus-size bridal gowns?
Yes. Our designer collections offer sizes through size 24 and beyond, depending on the house. Our current boutique samples run through size 24. Our team will work with you to identify the best options for your measurements and pull samples as close to your size as possible for your appointment.
